Today marks the 30th Anniversary of the release of one of the greatest rock and roll albums of all time - THE GRAND ILLUSION.

Here's hoping this works. Long live STYX - in every form, with every member, for every album and every song.

I'm off for the rest of the weekend. Will be back on Monday. Try to behave yourselves, ok? :P

Stay sane inside insanity ~ and never forget your towel.

Nice to find another person who admits to liking Styx...and not in an ironic "I'm so cool because they're so cheesy" kind of way.

I may be in the minority though who thinks Tommy Shaw had a better voice than Dennis DeYoung.

Has it really been 30 years? That just doesn't seem possible.

The worse thing about album covers is the lost of artwork!!

DANA: Hope you enjoyed the tune. Now that I've figured it out - expect to hear a lot more Styx and solo related gems.

MERI: Well, I can dream can't I? I do notice that we didn't have to use the bail fund though. :D

BECK: Yes, been in love with them for 30 years, and will always say that Tommy had the better ROCK vocals. Dennis is so much better doing theatre.

TRAV: Tell me about it. Damn I feel old....

MATT: Gotta agree with you hon. BRING BACK VINYL!

With love and pride
